Ginger Margarita.



INGREDIENTS: Serves 8

  • 4 oz fresh ginger
  • Cointreau
  • Tequila
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 1 cup of sugar

Now Cook:

1. In a small sauce pan, combine the ginger, lime juice and sugar and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Let cool, then puree in a blender. Pour the puree into a fine strainer and press on the ginger to extract as much syrup as possible.

2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add 3tbs tequila, 1 1/2 tbs of the ginger and lime Syrup and 1 tbs of Cointreau. Garnish with lime wedge and serve.
